  • Excellent transportation access to all major activity centers via Beltway 8, Westpark Tollway, Southwest Freeway (US 59) and State Highway 6.
  • Houston’s International Trade Center, located within the District.
  • Ethnic diversity that appeals to all types of users and residents. Multiple languages spoken by business owners and the workforce.
  • Major energy industry employers, including Halliburton and National Oilwell Varco, at the two principal entrances to the District. Energy industry firms are welcome.
  • Proven success of large retail centers such as the Hong Kong Mall, Sun’s Club and Viet Hoa Market.

handshake-150x150The District has over 2,900 businesses in virtually every industry sector. The District works with the business community to enhance, improve and assist wherever possible, the expansion and growth of business opportunities through our planned projects and programs. In 2009, the District is still in the planning process to adopt a Mobility, Transportation, Environmental and Urban Design Master Plan.  When completed and approved by the Board of Directors the plan will include recommendations for new street signage, landscaping and monumentation to create an identifiable look for the District’s major thoroughfares, entranceways, pedestrian crosswalks and business area. In upcoming months we will also develop programs to promote community support of local businesses. The District also has an abundance of good quality storefront space available on busy thoroughfares with great street front exposure.
